Creative nonfiction is my core interest and I am a doctorate candidate: my thesis centres on writing about ideas and the role of the story in writing about non-person centred subjects.

A language expert for all your needs

I have strong linguistic expertise

I am a linguist. I'm bilingual and fluent in English and Polish. I have also studied other languages, achieving an A-level in Latin. I also studied Ancient Greek, Hebrew, and German, as well as linguistics. 

 

I'm fascinated by the persuasive power of words. In my academic career, I centred on creative writing, and I specialise in creative nonfiction. Writing about ideas and theories is the main topic of my doctoral thesis. 

 

I'm a qualified translator and my literary translations include content for two documentaries about the K2 expeditions directed by Eliza Kubarska.

Although I don't actively work in the field, this is a profession close to my heart. The translation of literary and business texts can be a difficult craft and its success depends on achieving the correct detail, tone of voice, and mood. These aspects are important in all types of writing.
